Hey whats up I'm new. I've been trying to get good with IRC but I've come across some hang ups.

First off there seems to be a lot of networks with good stuff on it that don't show up in my MIRC program. How do I get them? Is there something that can update my network list? And my last problem is I am getting a shitty connection with these networks sometimes, but the problem is my port is open to mirc, so I have no idea what else could be causing this.

If you know of the networks then its easiest if you manually add them. If you have have friends or acquaintance's already there ask them for unknown detail.

As for shitty connection... could be a number of things.. for instance your current bandwidth usage.. or overloaded server that you connect to on default... or other stuff
