I actually use something VERY similar which should tell you something cause if they wanan find a way to track down people they will and for some reason this file was marked, who knows why...and in a way...if it's being tracked by a 3rd party company it is in fact malware...IMO

If anything, they are looking at peers connected to the seeds and sending out 'shotgun blast' letters to ISP's. Ultimately, they are in the wrong as they are violating privacy laws and making demands of ISP's that they will soon no longer be able to enforce (assuming the new net neutrality laws come into effect).

Either way, if you know what you're doing they can't prove anything at all. They have 'circumstantial' evidence and are simply making things worse for themselves. They are wasting they're own time and money and pissing consumers off at the same time.

If I was in your position I'd be laughing right now.

I actually got a letter from Paramount Pictures via my internet company to cease and desist illegal file downloading...seems like this file might be tracked by Paramount and it seems like they're stepping up surveillance, so be careful...

Heres the email:
