I have a problem, i installed the game and i applied the crack. But when i start the game, my computer gives this error of not able to start the game. Im really frustrated, because i installed the game several times, tried many cracks but it doesn't help

ok i have installed and cracked game opens up fine but i am getting same problem as others here game just sits when i select difficulty..I have looked through a few pages for a fix..found one saying go to documents and settings etc..i do not have these folders i dunno what i must do (can i just create a profile myself) any help would be appreciated

ummm so what the f**k happened.... I went to install the game and something like happened and the installer froze up and then when I restarted my computer and WaW like rules my hardrive now it changed the picture from a harddrive to the WaW symbol and avast thought it found a rootkit in it... lol im sooo confused

What's the deal with ppl using Daemon tools?? for me, i just open the ISO in MagicISO, copy all it's files into a new folder i named "setup" and install the game. enter the serial and apply the crack. check if the game is working (if yes, then i delete the "setup" folder i created). wooooo! it works! Never used Daemon ever. :O

The CD key is in the .nfo file. You can open the file with Notepad.

As for the people not being able to start the game up at all (you see the CoD5 console, and a pop up box), you have to follow these instructions (these steps were posted many pages back):

3. Create a new text document (right click>New>Text Document) in the same place you created your profile folder, and name it: active.txt.
4. Open the active.txt document, type in the same thing you named the profile folder with, and then save.

If you did this right, on the top right corner of the game screen, it should say: Offline/Online: [your username you chose].

First off, the serials is inculded in the .nfo file(You can open it up with wordpad).Second, if you get a blank screen and sound that means your hardware is not good enough to run it (prolly graphics card).

I downloaded a program called xpadder. It allows you to map keyboard characters to a controller. It allows not only for multiple controller layouts, but also multiple layouts that you can create for different games. Very cool program, and only took me an hour to figure out its full functionality. There are also youtube videos that show how to use the program if you want to make it easy on yourself.

I used winrar or winzip to extract the files - then I installed the game and deleted the ISO. You can use any virtual CD software though... DAEMON tools always works the best for me - I have never had an issue mounting ANY image with it. just download the evaluation for free. Mine hasnt expired in 2 years that I have used it.

Downloaded the torrent, and installed it per instructions in the .NFO file. The serial was correct and there were no errors.

I downloaded the torrent from "http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/52994410/call+of+duty+4?tab=summary to fix the error when the game won't start after selecting SOLO->Expert Level.

I haven't spent the time to figure out how to get the multi-player working yet, but will post when I have found a solution that works for me.

okay guys, to be honest i havent installed the game yet. but.....i would like to share something with all of you. Its trully hard to do this without YELLING at some of you Stupid Fu<kiNg morons. ok.... i only know this from past cracks and hacks i have used. when one registers a game online and creates an "online profile" only one person can use that. Not 20 or 2000. only 1. so unless there is a hack out there that is suffisticated enough to munipulate the web into thinking theres only 3 profiles u can use but u seem to think 2000 people are gona create the same account and try to get online...well boys, its common sense. i hate to be an a$$ but use your head. the only thing u can do is play the game through. NO ONLINE PLaying. AND ALL U HARD A$$'S OUT THERE that think ur super smart when u talk down to these other guys, the hard A$$'s are the true stupid Fu<ks. get a life.. sorry if i have affended anyone. goodluck to those who still dont get
