It's free and I didn't need to hunt down codecs and crap, just installed the newest version and was ready to go. The only problem I ever have with it is that I need to open the software manually. When I click the avi file, it won't automatically open the DivX player. Even right clicking the avi and using "open with" doesn't work. I have to go into my programs and open the player, then click the avi file. Could just be a setting with my computer though. The player always plays fine for me, both audio and video. Amazing1 Status: Offline Reputation: 2	Posted: Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:51 am Score: 0 A screener is a DVD that the movie company sends to the theaters so they can decide if they want to show the movie. They're sent before the release date. If some very nice criminal steals that DVD, copies it, then posts it here... we get DVD quality while it's still in theaters. I use Windows DVD Maker (came with vista) to convert the AVIs to DVD format that will play in a set top player. I just add file, customize the menu, then click burn. It takes FOREVER (usually 2-3 hours) to burn the disc, but so what. I haven't had one not play yet. And any idiot can use it. No codecs to install or any other crap.
